Guillermo Creus was born in Argentina and grew up in Porto Alegre, Brazil where he started his artistic career. After undergraduate studies in South America, he moved to complete graduate studies abroad, earning an MFA from Columbia University in New York, city where he has been based since. He exhibited his artwork in several solo and group shows in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America, while also working in curatorial projects worldwide.
After a years-long pause in his artistic practice Guillermo went back to painting in 2023. He currently divides his time between Brooklyn and the Catskills region of New York where he has his studio.
